¿Qué es el Second Conditional?

El Second Conditional se usa para hablar de situaciones hipotéticas o irreales en el presente o futuro.

Estructura Básica

If + sujeto + simple past, sujeto + would + verbo base

Ejemplo: If I had more time, I would travel the world.

Forma Alternativa

Sujeto + would + verbo base + if + sujeto + simple past

Ejemplo: She would buy a car if she had enough money.

¡Atención!

If I/he/she/it + were (no was)

Ejemplo: If I were you, I would tell your parents the truth.

Usamos "were" para todas las personas en situaciones hipotéticas.
